Ruining the game be it taking too long or getting decisions badly wrong/or highly questionable at best like Coventry have been robbed of a famous last minute goal.
Hope they can still win on Penalties and go through with justice being done anyway.......
A fucking outrageous decision by faceless cunts in a truck somewhere in a dogging car park, no doubt.

As soo; as it went to VAR I knew the goal would be disallowed, the powers that be don5 want a final of Coventry v City so I believe there’s some corruption somewhere to make the lines say what they want them to say. On VAR, 8 see Forest are playhell with the VAR chap saying he’s a Luton supporter, might get interesting.

Calm down, it was offside and the right decision. Heartbreaking for Coventry and neutrals, but it did exactly what it’s in place to do - for once.

Not one angle is conclusive to being offside and the fact they draw the lines side by side like that indicates they are guessing with their silly daft rulers.
Goal line technology I can live with as that's based in sensors but drawing lines on a screen ain't good enough and that goal should have stand.

.. it doesnt matter if they get every single decision right, thousands of fans have to sit on their hands every game until some arsehole in a van eventually gives them permission to cheer, thats why it should go.
... its only for TV companies benefit anyway, they love all the endless replay / controversy in return for their billions

Laughable to call that offside from that image. Coventry were robbed and the F.A. etc are destroying the game we once loved.
They want to rob lower League Clubs of the magic of the replays and monies surrounding it, scrapping extra time if they get their way, VAR now robbing Coventry of going through whilst no one can celebrate instantaneously anymore for fear of the VAR Fuck Truck stepping in and seeing someone's toenails slightly longer than the other.
The game is gone from when I first fell in love with it, all the romanticism is being eroded by faceless, know nothing money grabbing wankers behind the scenes chasing global money and viewers for the sake of it. Some of yous may be content with how it works but others like me fucking despise the dogshit "technology" that's still effectively down to subjective human judgement on massive calls, rather than leaving them to on-field Officials. Horrible long winded game killing tech.

That Coventry decision is a prime example of how VAR is ruining football. On the one side, you have drama, adrenaline, emotion, and everything we watch football for (or used to). On the other, an offside that, even if it IS offside, is so marginal that it gave no advantage to Coventry. Offside wasn't brought in to be so forensic; this quest for perfection in every decision is at the expense of the raw emotion. Not a good trade in my eyes.

Actually Solidbond, I take that back and make you right. It is that, as well as the flawed system and the FA implementing it too. All of that mix is fucking the game up for the Football purists amongst us.
I'm not naive to think there isn't a place for it but the VAR and recent FA Cup meddling has taken it all way too far an spoiling the game as a spectacle. Hate everything about VAR and what the game is now becoming.

VAR got all three major decisions right.
We would still be better off without VAR.

VAR is killing the game. I can only hope that todays disgraceful decision will lead to a genuine rebellion against this anti-sport technology and result in it being dumped.
My heart bleeds for Coventry to be robbed of a joyful and historic moment that they richly deserved.
This is what happens when dulll, bureaucratic placemen without a scintilla of soul in their body interfere in a sport.
I’ve said since it was first proposed that it would fuck up the game but it’s even worse than I’d imagined.

Ive said a number of times that the lines they use need to be replaced by a single line that is twice or maybe three times as wide and then its about the margin of error.
So if the player is within the line then its not a clear and obvious mistake, which was the original purpose of VAR..
